Born and raised in the inner-city of Chicago by a single parent, Glenda's mother sent her miles across town to attend Curie School of the Performing Arts. There she majored in Drama and Dance and was a member of the Thespian Club. Upon graduating, she was featured in local commercials.
After helping her mother relocate her family out of public housing, Glenda put her acting career on the backburner and became more involved in Chicago's fashion show circuit. She began touring as an EBONY FASHION FAIR MODEL and Assistant Commentator. Glenda has performed in productions all across the U.S., Canada and the Caribbean.
After relocating to Los Angeles in the summer of 2001, Glenda has performed in lead roles in several stage productions; "The Bitter Earth" at The Regency West Theatre, "Imitating Sam" at the Egyptian Arena and "Oh Brother Where Are Thou" at Stage 52. She also appeared at the "Steve Harvey Hoodie Awards" as a Guest Host. She is currently appearing on the new sketch comedy, hidden camera show, "Girls Behaving Badly" on the Oxygen Network. This wife and mother of one has come a long way from the streets of Chicago and she's determined to never just "site in the stands" because SHE'S definitely the ONE TO WATCH!
