During the early through mid 90s, he was also known to Canadian children (and Sailor Moon watching adult slackers) as "P.J. Gord" on YTV, the Canadian equivalent of Nickelodeon.
Canadian broadcasters are only allowed to devote about half as much time per hour to commercials during children's programming as American broadcasters are allowed, so, to fill the gaps between programmes during the daytime, YTV has hosts. Gord most often did the noon to 2:30 pm shift, though he sometimes filled in for other P.J.s.
In the early 90s, Gord was a host of YTVs Video and Arcade Top 10, which was basically a weekly half-hour long commercial for Nintendo video game systems. In the summer of 1992, his future Andromeda co-star, Lexa Doig, was (briefly) also a host for the movie and music segments.
After stint on YTV, he lost a bit of weight before moving on to more important roles in movies and TV.
Nicole de Boer, Ezri Dax of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, co-starred with him on Mission Genesis (Deepwater Black). Future Andromeda co-star Laura Bertram also guest-starred as his girlfriend.
He acted with Yasmine Bleeth in the movie Ultimate Deception.
He was in these films: The Highwayman (1999) (as Walter), Ultimate Deception (1999, as Frank McThomas), Bride of Chucky (1998, as David), Clutch (1998, as Spit).
He was nominated for the Gemini award for his role in the television movie Princes in Exile about a patient with cancer.
He did an episode of Kung Fu: The Legend Continues with his brother, Jaimz Woolvett.
He has been an actor since the age 12, attending at the Theatre Aquarius.

He's three years younger than his look-alike actor brother Jaimz Woolvett.
Gordon married his wife Michelle Morand on January 15, 2000. They have one child, Rogan born July 31, 2001.
