Graham Beckel is an American TV and film actor. He was born December 22, 1949 in Old Lyme, Connecticut. Beckel made his screen debut in 1973, at the age of 24, as Dan the bartender in Class of '63. He has since become well-known for high-profile guest appearances on TV shows such as Kojak, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: NY, Monk, Six Feet Under and Castle. More recently Beckel appeared as Jack Fisk in Battlestar Galactica, and as Hal Sanders in Heroes. Beckel's many film roles include Val in C.H.U.D. (1984), Detective Stensland in LA Confidential (1997), Admiral Nimitz in Pearl Harbour (2001), L.D. Newsome in Brokeback Mountain (2005), and as oil tycoon Ellis Wyatt in Atlas Shrugged (2011). Graham is the brother of Bob Beckel, a Democratic political adviser and senior analyst at Fox News. The brothers appeared together on Sean Hannity's show on the Fox News Channel on September 22, 2009, and are well-known for their opposing political views.
