    • When Greg was first approached to play one of the title characters on My Two Dads, he turned it down right away, because he didn't want to play a TV dad. Later, his agent called him and asked him to just meet with series creator Michael Jacobs. After looking at the script and doing a read-through, Greg finally accepted the part.
    • Greg married Pam Serpe on June 3rd, 1979. The two have two daughters (Vanessa and Briana) and one son (Jason).
    • Greg's first job on Broadway was at the age of 17 when he sang in the original production of Jesus Christ Superstar. His second role was the lead (Danny Zuko) in the original stage production of Grease.
