In May 1999, Race was the last person to speak to Owen Hart before his tragic death at the WWF Over the Edge PPV.
When Harley retired from in ring physicality, he managed other wrestlers.
They were Big Van Vader, "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff, The Collosal Kongs, Super Invader, Vinnie Vegas and Mr. Hughes.
Race debuted in the then WWF in June of 1986, known as "Handsome" Harley Race managed by Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
Race has wrestled in many different wrestling promotions and they were the AWA, NWA, NJPW, ASPW, Stmapede Wrestling, CSW, CWF, WWF (now known as the WWE), WWC, WWA-LA, NWA M-A, IWA, MLW, GCW and ESA.
He is a former 5 time AWA World Tag Team Champ, 4 times with long time tag partner Larry "The Ax" Hennig and one time with Chris Markoff.
Race began his career in the 1960's known as Jack Long and was in a tag team called The Long Brothers for a short period of time.
