Best known for the film Kevin and Perry Go Large and his various comedy sketch shows, Harry Enfield is an English comedian. After achieving a degree in Politics and working for some time as a milkman, he first appeared on Channel 4's Saturday Live in the late 80s with Paul Whitehouse, who later joined him with Kathy Burke in Harry Enfield and Chums.
The characters introduced in his various sketch shows soon entered the national consciousness. These included "Loadsamoney", "Tim-Nice-But-Dim", "Wayne Slob", "Smashie and Nicey" and "Kevin The Teenager". Kevin and his friend Perry
… More (played by Kathy Burke) were later immortalised in the hugely successful film Kevin and Perry Go Large, in where they travel to Ibiza in an attempt to become "superstar DJs". Other work has included a Dime Bar commercial, (where he declared a preference for eating armadilloes - "smooth on the inside, crunchy on the outside", a role as George VI in Churchill: The Hollywood Yearsin 2004, and as the first guest on BBC2's Top Gear with a track time of 2:01. His most recent TV appearances have been in Ruddy Hell, It's Harry and Paul in 2007 and as the father of Tony in Channel 4's Skins.
