Harry Kalas will definitely be missed not just in Philadelphia for his work with the Phillies, but in the football world too. He has been the voice of NFL Films since 1975 and has done that along with provide the voice of the Inside the NFL highlights since 1977 when the show first began. To me it will be really difficult to replace such a legendary voice for both Phillies baseball, and NFL Films along with live radio broadcasts of football games on Sundays in the fall. The one great line that I liked best by Harry Kalas was after the Giants won Super Bowl XLII was "though they weren't perfect the whole season, they were the best when it mattered most, and now, the New York Giants, are football's world champions."
