  • Quotes

    • Hayden: I don't sleep with my pigs. But we hang out on the couch and watch Iron Chef.

    • Hayden: My pants in Star Wars were constantly splitting right up the crotch. I had to jump around and do all sorts of things, and the material tore very easily. If I bent my knees too far, I could hear the rip. That was always embarassing.

    • Hayden: Once I played Santa Claus for my nieces and nephews. I did the whole 'HO-HO-HO' thing. It was good fun!

    • Hayden: I grew up on planes. My father has a licence, and I have memories of being in the cockpit at age five.

    • Hayden: I would meow as one of their cats just to have a cameo role on The Simpsons.

    • Hayden: I used to write in high school. I loved the freedom. It's a solitary means of expression, where you can lock yourself in a room for a couple of days and just come up with your own stories. And I've always found that appealing because I'm a bit of a hermit myself.

    • Hayden: I love my mother Ali so much. I'm a momma's boy. I just have a very cool mom. It's not as though I had any say in the matter. I'm just really fortunate. She's the most kind, loving, giving woman. She loves her children an enormous amount so it's hard not to show the same in return. I try to do everything to be a good son. I come home for dinner when I'm in town and keep out of trouble.

    • Hayden: I love acting because it's a bit of an escape. It gives you the ability to reinvent yourself. They say that acting is the shy man's revenge.

    • Hayden: Actors are observers. They're trying to have an understanding of human sensibility. And how do you have that accurate observation if you regard yourself as someone of great importance? When you're the one constantly being observed, because they view you as a celebrity? It's all wrong.

    • Hayden: I try to stay away from the L.A. scene as much as possible. I feel it helps me to better prepare for my roles if I am not too involved in that whole thing.

    • Hayden: Ewan McGregor and I had very similar first-time light sabre experiences. We both burned ourselves! These things are hot - they're full of batteries!

    • Hayden: I nag him (George Lucas) every now and then about whether or not I'll get to wear the Darth Vader outfit, and he gives me a little wink-wink, nudge-nudge, that maybe I will.

    • Hayden: A long time ago, in a country not so far away, I was eight years old, doing my best Darth Vader imitation.

    • Hayden: One of the things I find about acting is that the less the audience knows about the actor, the more they're able to believe in him in the role.

  • terrible actor...

I want to start off saying that I do not wish to offend anyone; these are my opinions about Hayden Christensen and you can disagree all you want. Ok, so I acsolutely hate Hayden Christensen. He is a terrible actor. I honestly can't believe he was given the chance to act in Star Wars. He ruined the third movie for me. I bet there are thousands of other actors that could have done a better job than he did. So, basically, I think Hayden is overrated and shouldn't get any more acting jobs because he really can't act at all.moreless
  • Hayden has a promising future!

With only 26 years old, Hayden Christensen has done some amazing work.

I first noticed him in "Higher Ground", where he starred as the dificult Scott Barringer, a teenage who had been sexually abused by his stepmother and turned to drugs in order to try and forget what had happened. It was a really good show and I was really sad when it was cancelled.

In 2001, Christensen starred in "Life as a House" as Sam Monroe, a troubled teenager forced to spend the Summer at his father's place. This movie was aclamed by the critics and received really good reviews.

That same year, Hayden was casted to portray the young Anakin Skywalker in "Star Wars: Attack of the Clones".

In 2003, he starred in "Shattered Glass" as the journalist Stephen Glass. This movie received good reviews, as did Hayden.

2005 marked Hayden's return to the big screen with the last sequel of the Star Wars saga, "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith".moreless
