So I was thinking about the Golden Globes and how the director of Dark Knight accepted the award for Heath Ledger. He said that Heath had an amazing film history. I just need someone to refresh my memory for me but what other "quality" films besides DK did Heath appear in? The only one that i could remember is 10 things i hate about you w/ Julia Stiles. and of course that does even come close to a "quality" film.

Well lets see...The Patriot, Lords of Dogtown, the academy award winning Brokeback Mountain, and my personal favorite A Knight's Tale.

Here's the list of Heath Ledger's films from the Internet Movie Database. Which ones are "quality" films is really a matter of opinion, I think. I also liked Brokeback Mountain.

The only other "quality" movie is obviously brokeback mountain. Which honestly i think was a bit overrated. I'd watch Philadelphia any time over BM

I've seen Philadelphia its pretty good. This looks good too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4vAfBXW1e6U it's similar to philadelphia (a close friend of mine just came out so i can sort of relate). anyways it's a true story about a mom who rejects her son b/c he's gay and he ends up committing suicide. The she feels guilty and realizes that this was all her fault. Later she became one of the most well known gay activists figures in the US
