Heather Paige Kent is well known for her role as Lydia DeLucca in the series That's Life.

Heather was born on January 5, 1969, in the Bronx, New York. She was raised in Chappaqua, in New York. She is, in fact, Jewish, and her family has Ashkenazi origins in Poland, Hungary and Austria. She received her Musical Theater BFA in 1990 from Syracuse College in New York. After graduation, she left to Los Angeles and performed a while on Dyneyland's stage as a singer and an actress. Later, she formed her 14 people band and performed as a singer throughout their tour.

Heather's first appearance on TV was on the sitcom Baby Talk, in 1991. She was performing on stage again for 3 years until landing on TV again, this time in Married… With Children.

She continued to appear on more or less successful sitcoms, until she was cast as Jenny McCarthy's best friend in Jenny, in 1997. Her sugar and spice personality fit well with McCarthy's self-mocking comedy. Later on, Heather has got some more notable TV appearances, on Early Edition (1999), and The Norm Show.

But in the year 2000 she started her starring role on That's Life. Alongside famous actors such as Paul Sorvino and Debi Mazar, she played the role of Lydia Denise DeLucca. Lydia, a 30 something daughter to an Italian family in a little community in New York, decides not to marry her boyfriend and to return to college and pursue her dreams. The series ran for two seasons.

She also appeared as Maggie Keller in the series Stark Raving Mad.

Heather is married to Terry Dubrow, a plastic surgeon from California. They married on June 5, 1999, and they have twins - a boy and a girl.
