Holly is so amazing I loved her acting in all her projects, in Charmed she would always make you cry and then other times would have you cracking up laughing I think she is underrated and should be used in much more things I love to see her acting she is just plain amazing talented hopefully she will find a good job and we will get to see her great acting in another great television series like Charmed I try to keep up with all her things I watched her in our mother's murder she was great she made her character seem real I think she is better than most "A List" actresses out there shes very talented and super beautiful

I beleive that Holly Marie Combs should be a much bigger star. I feel that her talent's are not fully realized, and she should really activly persue more rolls. I think she is too talented and too young to retire from the limelight she deserves. In short I think she is great, and very attractive too. Holly please come back to the screen, either T.V. or the big screen.

I saw your cameo in Oceans 11 the other night, I thought you were great. My wife wanted to know what's it like sitting next to George Clooney, and keeping your hands to yourself. She said she has to be a great actress.



I can not think of anything else that can be said about this wonderful Actress. She is what every young woman who is entering the entertainment business should strive for.

All the time she was on Chamred, she was a professional and never "revealed" too much in the way of clothes.



Her hair never changed drastically over the years, unlike Alyssa Milano or Rose McGowan and her character was the most rational of them all. Reading about her on Celebrity babies, I can tell Holly Marie Combs is a good mother and if she chose to have more kids in the future, she would have room in her heart for me. Maybe a little girl like her character Piper had in the future.



Holly is one of the reasons I ended up watcing Charmed in the first place, having recognized her from Picket Fences.

Holly Marie Combs is such a good actress. I am now in season 4 of Charmed and she has shown all sides of a great, talented actress. Although, in my opinion, I think in Charmed she kind of took the back seat (which made me mad) 1st to Shannon Doherty, then to Alyssa Milano. No offence Alyssa is good too, but Holly Marie Combs is just so much better! I havn't seen anything else of her work, but I hope to in the future. For now I can watch her on charmed (she is obviously my favorite character on the show).

holly marie combs is one of the best actresses out there. in all of her films and tv series she always gives 110% and if she has to be happy you can tell she is and when she needs to be angry,upset or even scared you can see she is. she always gets in her character which makes her give an outstanding performance. she gets on well with everyone and enjoys what she does. in charmed holly welcomed rose mcgowan in for season 4 even which is the type of person holly is and will probably always will do so. holly doesn't try and be somebody else what you see if what you get with her which i admire.

When I first started watching 'Charmed,' my favorite was Piper; that has never changed. Holly Marie Combs is a pro at what she does (and has gorgeous boys, too!), and I think that had she left with Shannen Doherty, 'Charmed' would not have run five more seasons. Her acting in her latest project, "Point of Entry," was realistic and wonderfully played out. I cannot wait to see her next made - for - television movie, 'Mistresses.' Holly is and will always be one of my favorite actresses; on my list, she's right up there with Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry.

Although I had never heard of her before I started to watch Charmed, Piper soon became my favorite Halliwell sister. I also have two sisters and as Piper I am the middle one. That is one of the reasons I like Piper but the main reason is Holly Marie Combs. She is smart, funny and beautiful. She is an amazing actress and she seems like an amazing person and an awesome mother. The reason I started to watch Charmed was Shannen Doherty and after she left Holly Marie was the reason I continued to watch the show. The favorite Piper centered episode for me was "Hell Hath No Fury" from season 4; she was perfect in that episode but then again she is perfect in every episode. Hopefully we will see more of her in the future.

Holly Marie Combs is best known for her role as Piper Halliwell on the hit TV show Charmed. Holly has also played parts in movies, including Ocean's Eleven & Love's Deadly Triangle: The Texas Cadet Murder (Swearing Allegiance). In Charmed she played my favourite sister and during emotional scenes, made me cry & feel as upset as she did. Out of the sisters on the show Holly was simply the best& the most compelling to watch. Since finishing Charmed in 2006, Holly has remained quite in the acting world and has instead been raising her two sons, Finley & Riley. I believe that Holly is an underused & underrated actress, who still has a lot to give to the world, through her acting. Hopefully when her sons are older, Holly will be able to find her feet, once again in the acting world.

I love Holly Marie Combs, she's one of my favorite person in this world. she's a great actress of course but she also seems so nice. and she's beautiful, if only i could look a tiny bit like her. i love her smile the most, but i have a thing for smiles anyway :D.

Piper was always my favorite on charmed from the very beginning, just as kimberly was my favorite on picket fences.

One of my favorite Holly moments on Charmed was Hell hath no fury of season 4, Holly did just an amazing job, i was in tears and i was still am every time i watch that episode. I was so sad when Charmed ended becasue i knew it would mean we'd her less and i hope we can more of her again very soon. i miss her.

Holly is a great actor, and I'd bet, a wonderful person. never seen Picket Fences before, and I'm not sure it comes on tv anymore, but as soon as I get the chance I'll look up a few episodes online. But I did see this clip where she was singing in an episode, and she has a good voice. I watched My Mother's Murder because she was in it, and I think Sarah Chalke, and I loved her from Roseanne as well as Holly from Charmed, and it was great. Holly always protrays these strong characters, and I think in a way a way she adds a little of herself to them as well. I mainly know her from Charmed though, and it's my favorite show of all time. I think everyone can relate to Piper in a way, and that's mwhy a lot of people consider Piper as their favorie. Charmed also showed off how great an actress she was. Episode exaples, Vaya Cons Leo, All Hell Breaks Loose, Charmed Again, Coyote Piper, and Hell Hath No Fury. Hell Hath No Fury probably stood out the most because of that scene where Piper finally let's out her feelings. And the reason I say Coyoyte Piper, is because of Piper being obsessed by a demon, and trying to act like the character she was playing, but posessed. The dancing on the bar part was really a shock. I think in an interview she said she was horrified doing that, and that Shannen came up with that part. She took her role as Piper and somehow managed to mature it better than any other character matured, in my opinion. That's what makes her a great actress. At first Piper was the shy middle sister, trying to bring peace between the oldest and the youngest. Then she took over as the older sister, and Holly combined Prue and Piper, still making sure the character was still Piper like. I hop we get to see Holly act in some more shows. Whatever it is when she starts acting again, I'm sure it'll be great.

Holly was born on the 3rd of December 1973 to her 15 year old mother Lauralei Combs and her father who was 17. Holly's parents split, 2 years after Holly was born as they were very young and were finding marriage hard, especially with young Holly. Her parents dropped out of high school, and made ends meet as best they could. (her dad worked at a feed store and her mom got a job at the Del Mar racetrack exercising horses). Holly was born in San Diego, California but moved to Manhattan, New York when she was 8 years old where she attended Beekman Hill Elementary School. It was then when her mom decided to pursue acting for Holly. Holly's mother held down waitressing and modeling jobs to help pay the bills, while her stepfather--who married her mom when Holly was 12--worked as a bartender. All three lived with Holly's grandmother at one point. They lived in a long series of small studio apartments, never living in one place for very long. Holly says she is now a pack rat because she never had any place to keep things while she was growing up. She also blames her passion for interior decorating on her gypsy-like childhood. Instead of constantly moving, she now constantly redecorates her house. The family was so cash-strapped, they often had to live in cramped apartments. The worst was a teensy studio they lived in when Combs was a teenager. "I had a loft, and my parents' bed was underneath," Combs says. "You could only be alone in the bathroom. I don't know how we did it.". She spent four years looking for the right house to buy. "I was drawn to this house because of the beautiful land. There are no houses or anyone living behind me. There's about 30,000 acres of parkland that won't ever be built on. And that's pretty cool because I own only two and a half acres, but it looks like I have so much more that I didn't have to pay for!". The deciding factor was a large kennel for her dogs. Plus, plenty of room for her other pets. She used to keep her horses at Shannen's ranch, but now has plenty of room on her own ranch. At first, Holly's mother was living in her guest room. Holly attended the Children's Professional school where her teachers included Ernie Martin, Where other big names like Sarah Michelle Gellar studied. It was there where Holly was noticed by film and TV executives for her exceptional acting abilities. Holly's career started in television commercials and print ads when she was ten. Holly obtained her SAG (Screen Actor's Guild) card when she appeared in 'Walls of Glass' aka 'Flanagan' (1985), a film in which Holly's mother, Lauralei also had a role. Her mother was also guest star on Charmed in the episode 'Just Harried' (Episode: #3.15), 22 February 2001 as a girl in the bar. Lauralei now works as an actress and a singer and lives in Texas. Her stepfather is a musician and her biological father does machine work. Holly's big break came in 'Picket Fences' where she played 'Kimberly Brock' at the age of 18. Her first meeting with David E. Kelley did not go well. He had told Holly she didn't have enough heart to Play Kimberly on Picket Fences. "I was terribly hurt -- and angry. I thought he was just being mean", says Holly. He then ultimately decided to cast her and rewrote the character to fit Holly's personality when he was unable to find anyone who fit the part. Kelley had to convince Holly to take the part. "Suddenly, he can't find anyone else and now I'm right for the part. Sorry!" He had to keep asking Holly for a couple of weeks before she finally agreed. "I had quite an attitude going" says Holly. It was this part which made Holly into a house hold name. It was a highly successful series - the show won fourteen Emmys in four years. Holly was nominated for two SAG Awards, along with the rest of the Picket Fences cast, for best ensemble acting in a television drama. Her performance on the show earnt her Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress in a New Television Series in 1993. When the series ended, Holly then went on and starred in many other movies (see filmography). Holly is now enjoying the huge success of the TV series, 'Charmed', now in it's 6th season playing Piper Halliwell. She's also a Producer in Charmed from season 5, along with co star, Alyssa Milano.



Holly married Bryan 'Bugsy' Smith in 1993, and then divorced in 1997, afterwards Holly said they were too young to cope, just like her parents were. They only went out for 8 days before they got married. (In a Las Vegas chapel). She then dated Brian Bouma. He worked on the crew for 'Our Mother's Murder'. A few years later, she then got engaged to Storm Lyndon (who is a second grade school teacher from Venice Beach and He teaches in South Central L.A) but she called off the engagement in late 2000. They met while on a holiday in Mexico in a bar/restaurant with Charmed ex co-star and best friend, Shannen Doherty. She currently lives with her husband, David Donoho, who used to work as a Key Grip on the set of Charmed. They got married on February 14th, 2004 on valentines day. “We decided to make it about our commitment to our new family” says David, referring to the baby boy they had named Finley Arthur Donoho on April 26th, 2004. "We had kind of a deadline, so we decided to do it real quick," says Holly, "We got married at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara. Yes, I pulled a Gwyneth. I know, it wasn't original, but it was quick!"



Holly currently lives in the Bell Canyon area which is located in the San Fernando Valley in California, in a Spanish style, three bedroom house with all of her pets and husband, David.



Holly supports the charity 'Thursday's child' because she remembers herself as a troubled child, She was often mean to her mum, punished by her teachers and dressed in black. She didn't have a good time in high school. "I kind of had a problem with authority, I wasn't very outgoing. I was shy. It was a tough time for me". Nowadays Holly is a very down to earth person. Holly says she is not into the whole Hollywood scene. The simple pleasures in life suit her just fine. She is also the official spokesperson for the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign. Her favorite food is Italian-"Pretty much all kinds". She also loves Cheeseburgers, Coca Krispies, Salami, and Bacon. Her Hobbies include, Horseback riding, gardening & collecting antiques. She loves to play Scrabble as well as other games like Trivial Pursuit, Beyond Balderdash, Monopoly and the Worst-Case. And she has a lot of pets! She has Three quarter horses: Jesse, Jake, and Jezebel; five dogs: (two of them are her husband’s) Hugo, Travis, Sugar, Thunder and Lola (Lola was given to her by Alyssa's mum); three cats: Blue and Selina (named after Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman) and ?; two lovebirds: Lollipop and Flower. Holly also has four rabbits, and koi fish! She did have a a turtle but she had to get rid of it when she had the baby because of a salmonella risk, so it went to a nice big pond in her friend’s backyard. She also use to have 2 physically challenged hamsters, one was very fat and one only has 3 legs. The hamsters were once classroom pets of Storm Lyndon's and they went home in the summer break. When she was younger she had a Siberian husky, named Wiley, which was given to her by Actor, Don Johnson.

I knew her in Charmed and she was my favorite from the beginnnig!



She Does a great job! She's so sweet. I love so much her: Her teeth are so lovely (what a lovely smile!) She not the "normal-hot-not-personality" actress that gets all by her aspect and not for her job! Of course she is so beautiful! I love that face! Holly Marie Combs is a very talented actress. She tries hard and it shows. She is a great acress in the TV show Charmed. She was Piper Halliwell. I had always thought that Piper had the best lines and knew so much. When guest starring on The Tony Danza Show she showed everyone that she is not only a great actress but a great person. She has a very nice laugh and a nice smile. I could not help myself to learn al about this amazing person. I love how she has a life away from all the acting. She has six dogs, five rabbits, four horses, three lovebirds and two cats. Knowing that she has all these pets makes me feel that she takes time off and just enjoys life. She has all those pets (lucky her) that she takes time to pet, feed, and love. I think Holly is a great role model for all people bothe young and old!

Her character in Charmed, Piper, of course, is great. She's the tipical middle sister who must keep Prue and Phoebe apart! She is a great listener and she's very sarcastic!

And Pipers powers are so great! She could deal with almost any demon!

And she and Prue were always so close! There are 100 sweet Prue - Piper - scenes! I love both;)

I like also the fact that she couldn't accept Paige at first! Paige can't compaire to Prue, ppl!

Charmed was an excellent series..Hollie Marie Comb's did wonderfully producing it..Being an actress and producer and a mom and wife must be very hard at juggling..But she seems to do it very well..She's a beautiful person as I see her on the show..She is a wonderful actress.She seems to know her job and character very well.I would love to see other shows be produced by her..I'm sure she would be extraordinary at producing them..I also think she should star in a new show of some sort; maybe even as a talk show host..She's is just a beautiful and wonderful actress and I would love to see more of her..Even my 4 yr old son enjoys watching Charmed with me, that has to say something..

Holly is a good actress. I liked her when I saw her in Charmed and I think she is better than Shannen but I like Rose and Alyssa the best. I think Holly played the better older sister in Charmed than Shannen. Holly in Charmed(Piper) was more better at it even through she was used to being the middle sister in Charmed but her sister Prue in Charmed sometimes acted like the youngest. I haven't seen Picket Fences with Holly in it and I didn't really read about is so I don't know if it is good or not. I watch alot of other shows anyway.

I realy liked Holly in charmed she was always the funny one that had goals in life and she made a great couple with Leo. This woman is one of the great, in my opinion, drama actress that is in the business. She can act, she can be funny, she can cry. Hell, she can die like a queen! Lol. It's a shame that she's not more exposed or that she does make the move to movies, she certainly could be very succesfull. She has a natural beauty, she doesn\'t need to try whatsoever to be beautiful, even without make up. Which is a nice change from a lot of actresses that looks so fake because they have 1 inche of make up on and everything.

I love the little side comments she makes when she is angry or sad. She plays the role of nurturer and demon vanqisher so well. She is a great actress.

Holly Marie Combs is a very talented actress. She stared on Charmed for 8 years and made her charcteer grow on the show. She started out on Charmed as a shy young woman who was not comfortable in her skin to a strong independent woman. That takes a great actress to develop a character into that. I hope she has a lot more jobs and another show that I can get additive too like charmed. She is also a beautiful attractive women with two young children. So now she is up there with other beautiful mothers. I just love her and wish to be more like her and her characters that she plays.
