Biography:
Born in Virginia, Hunter grew up in a Navy family, alternating between Virginia and California. He attended the University of Southern California and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science.
After graduation he joined the US Navy and became a pilot flying the F/A-18 Strike/Fighter. He eventually became an instructor teaching F/A-18 tactics in San Diego.
He currently lives in LaJolla (San Diego), California. Where he was employed as a pilot for FedEx.
In 2002 he appeared on Survivor 4, but was voted off early.
A friend encouraged him to audition for the History Channel, where he was selected as the host of the show "Tactical to Practical". After two seasons, he was made host of a new History Channel show "Man, Moment, Machine."
