I am a fan , yes , so lets talk about all her appearences and stuffYou must be registered and logged in to post a message. - Yeah, she did an amazing job as Elphie. If you didn't know, she just recently finished her London run (She opened the West End production and was in it until December 30, 2006). Even though I couldn't see her in it, I'm sure she did an amazing job there as well. You must be registered and logged in to post a message.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOokYou must be registered and logged in to post a message.- I'm pretty sure there isn't an age limit, it was just time for her to go. She stayed on Broadway for a year and a half, but on what was supposed to be her 3rd to last show, she broke her rib when she "melted". Even though she came back for her what was supposed to be her last show and went on stage (I'm assuming you've seen pictures of the famous red track suit), she said doing the London show would be good closure for her.You must be registered and logged in to post a message.

- Oh ok I just saw a a thing on Wicked Musical how you could audition or ways to well just if you do certain things that must be met I'm not sure if any other Elphaba has been a Coloatura Like Idina Menzel though Victria Matlock and Ana Gastyer sound good as Elphaba to so does Stephanie J. Block.Edited on 04/04/2007 3:11pmYou must be registered and logged in to post a message.

- can you please just tell us? i have been trying to figure it out for a while now and i just cant find it because she doesnt believe in a "break" in a voice so she doesnt tell anyone her vocal range....You must be registered and logged in to post a message.
- Ok I hope she doesn't get mad at me for doing this and anyways whats a break? here is the vocal range Idina Menzel is from her high chilling notes in reaches all the way up to the highest vocal range there is which is a Coloratura Soprano. but vocally people that hit fallsetto/ headvoice which is another form opera voice can like well you know break glass ,but she hits those notes just note in the opera way on the CD she hits an F but I know she made it up to a G so she can cover 3 ocaves down to the lowets for a female singer which is an E but there are peopel that can go higher than her but not in the voice that she has they use the opera voice its just the way the voice it will start to sound like a chipmunk and not naturally so she has the whole piano range covered without falsetto and the range that she is is kinda rare you'd have to have a mautured voice and a powerful and high like she does but you can hit them fallsetto/ heavoice wise.ok if you want to know on the piano start at middleC then go down two an alto E which is 5 keys down from middle C ok go back to middle C then go up 4 keys and your at a G then go to more octaves up which are to more G's and you'll be there so if you want to start with the low e then go up you should be at or count 24 white keys but if you count the flats and sharps which are the black key al ltogether it is 40 keys yea wow!also the form of female vocal ranges are Contralto Soprano, Medzzo Soprano, Soprano, Coloratura Soprano please please ask if you have questions if you need more explanation or anything else about the voice I didn't say.Edited on 08/05/2008 11:03am
