Irene Bedard

Irene was the model for the animated title character in Disney's Pocahontas.

In 2003, Irene formed a band with her husband, musician Deni Wilson, called Irene Bedard and Deni. Their first release was called Warrior of Love.

In 2004, Irene won both the "Best Actress" and "Best Supporting Acress" awards at the American Indian Film and Television Awards.

In 1995, Irene was selected as one of People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People in the World."

Irene is best known as the voice of the title character in Disney's Pocahontas.
