Ivan Koumaev

Ivan was born in Russia, and lived in Seattle, Washington, with his parents until moving to California in 2006. He began dancing at age 11, and did various styles of dance, including ballroom dancing with his mother. He focused on hip hop and in the summer of 2006 was chosen as a contestant on the second season of So You Think You Can Dance, and made it to the Top 6 before being eliminated.
