Halloween at the Venture compound. Dr. Venture plans to scare any trick-or-treaters that dare to come by. Hank, Dean, and Dermott visit a haunted house. And the Order of the Triad hosts a Halloween party of wizards.

When a young man calls 911 to report seeing someone being buried in Griffith Park, police find not only her remains, but those of several other women who were kills as far back as two years ago. Brenda immediately suspects Philip Stroh and, despite departmental restrictions, sets out to finally tie him to the murders. Meanwhile, the witness who called 911 makes Brenda look at her life and future.

The team investigates the shooting death of a decorated war veteran who was found on the street near an empty house frequented by a teenage girl and her boyfriend. Captain Raydor discovers the source of the leak in Major Crimes.

When a priest in found murdered, the investigation leads to an apartment leased under his name and containing many pictures of girls from the elementary school where he teaches. Brenda's heavy-handed tactics land her in hot water with not only the Church, but with Chief Pope whose orders she directly disobeys.

Meanwhile, Brenda's parents have arrived and the treatments Clay is receiving from Dr. Parr are having a positive impact on his health.

Major Crimes investigates the death of a beloved cancer doctor forcing Brenda to deal her feelings around her father's own struggle with cancer. Meanwhile, David Gabriel surprises everyone by arriving at the crime scene with his girlfriend, a law student who offers unsolicited advice to the investigation.

In Provenza's latest embarrassing situation, he tries to help his first ex-wife get her wedding ring back after she sold it to a not so reputable gold buyer and gets into more trouble than he expected.

Brenda thinks she may finally be able to convict Philip Stroh of rape, but when her testimony in the trial of his client, George Harris, results in a mistrial and infuriates the prosecutor, she gets in even more trouble with Chief Pope. Meanwhile, Fritz helps track down Natalie Gilbert, a rape victim from three years ago, who Brenda hopes will identify Stroh as her rapist.

As dawn comes to Republic City, Team Avatar assembles to stop the Eqalists once and for all. General Iroh, Bolin, and Asami head for the air field where they come face to face with Hiroshi, and Asami must make a difficult decision. Meanwhile, Korra and Mako infiltrate the arena and try to expose Amon as a waterbender. However, Amon ups the game and reveals that he has captured Tenzin and the children. Korra and Mako go on the attack leading to one final battle with Amon. The fate of Republic City and bending hangs in the balance.

Korra has returned to Republic City and is comfortably resting. A council meeting is set to take place to discuss what to do now that Tarrlok has been captured. However, after arriving at City Hall, Tenzin finds out the remaining council members have been kidnapped. Amon and the Equalists then launch an attack on Republic City and Air Temple Island. The United Forces are summoned to the city, but they won't arrive for some time. Meanwhile, Pema goes into labor during the attack. Will Republic City fall to the Equalists?

Tarrlok has taken Korra to a secret compound in the mountains far outside of Republic City and leaves her in a cage. Back in the city Tarrlok frames the Equalists for the attacks. Lin hears the news reports on the radio and leaves the hospital and breaks Mako, Bolin, and Asami out of jail. They team up with Tenzin and infiltrate the Equalists' underground tunnels looking for Korra and the captured Metalbending police officers. After rescuing the police officers, they discover Tarrlok's plan and head to city hall. Meanwhile, trapped at Tarrlok's mountain retreat, Korra takes Tenzin's advice and tries to meditate in order to connect to Aang and figure out what she should do.

Lin resigns as the chief of police, leading to Captain Saikhan takes over. Saikhan announces he will answer directly to Tarrlok and cooperate with his plans to take down the Equalists. Tarrlok tells Korra to stay out of his way if she will not join him. Asami, Mako, and Bolin move to Air Temple Island where they decide to form the new "Team Avatar" with Korra. They begin to go after Equalists on their own causing Tarrlok to pass a new law oppressing all non-benders. The resulting law and the arrest of Mako, Bolin, and Asami leads Korra to confront Tarrlok at his office which leads to a battle with serious consequences.

Following the attack on the Pro-bending Arena, Tarrlok denounces Lin publicly and calls for her resignation. Determined to keep the city safe, Lin begins raiding places and uncovering secret Equalist supporters. Meanwhile, with the arena damaged, Mako and Bolin are forced to move out and move in to the Sato mansion. While visiting the mansion, Korra overhears a phone conversation Hiroshi is having and tells Lin and Tenzin that she believes he is working with the Equalists. Hirsohi lets the police investigate his factories but they come up with nothing. A worker organizes a secret meeting with Korra, Tenzin, and Lin and informs them of a secret factory at the Sato mansion. However, the "useful tip" ends up being a trap for the Benders.

Amon announces to the city that if the Republic City council does not cancel the Pro-bending finals the entire city will suffer. The council initially gives into Amon's demands, but after Lin convinces them that the police will protect the arena, they let the finals proceed. Korra, Mako, and Bolin are determined to beat Tahno and his team. However, they have payed off the referee and soon begin to cheat during the match. As the match ends with an unfair victory for Tahno, Amon makes his move and takes over the arena.

The Republic City council meets to discuss what they should do about Amon and the Anti-Bending Movement. Tarrlok, the Northern Water Tribe representative, decides to create a task force to go after Amon and the Chi Blockers. With Tenzin being the only council member to object, the plan is set in motion. Tarrlok tries to recruit Korra for the task force but she rejects at first, secretly being to scared to try and go up against Amon. Not giving up, Tarrlok throws a party for Korra. After the press backs her into a corner, Korra agrees to join the task force. However, things soon escalate far out of Korra's control.

While the Fire Ferrets are training for the championship tournament, they are told they need to raise 30,000 yuans in order to be in tournament. Bolin decides to get money by having their Fire Ferret Pabu perform tricks. He is soon convinced to do some security work for the Triple Threat Triad in order to get money. However, it turns out to be a ploy and he is captured and brought to a secret location by The Equalists. Korra and Mako try to trace him down and end up at a Equalist rally where Amon, the leader, is set to unveil "The Revelation", his plan to end bending once and for all.

70 years have passed since Avatar Aang defeated Firelord Ozai and saved the world. Now, his successor, Korra, is training to be the new Avatar. After passing her firebending test, she meets with Tenzin, Aang's son who is suppose to be her Airbending Teacher. However, he tells her that her training must wait as he is still needed in Republic City. Not wanting to wait, Korra sneaks out of the South Pole and heads to Republic City where she finds herself in a little over her head.

Korra begins her training under Tenzin. However, Korra is quick to give up when it doesn't come easily to her. She soon becomes interested in the game of Pro-Bending and sneaks off to the city to see a match when Tenzin forbids it. There she meets brothers Mako and Bolin. When their teammate backs out of a match Korra joins the team to help them.

Spider-Man is confronted by director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nick Fury, who offers the web-slinger exclusive training and a chance to become the "Ultimate Spider-Man." At first declining the offer, Spidey soon comes to realize that he may need Fury's help when the members of the Frightful Four attack Peter's school, having learned that Spider-Man's alter ego is a student at Midtown High.

Brenda and her team look into a hit and run accident in which a teenage girl riding her motorbike was killed by a hit and run driver. The investigation soon uncovers that the crime was committed using the Police Commissioner's wife's car, which she reported stolen.

Brenda and Fritz again find themselves at odds when the chief suspect in a local murder turns out to be a man under FBI surveillance and suspected to be the lynchpin behind a multimillion dollar interstate burglary ring. Meanwhile, Brenda's parents arrive for a brief, spontaneous visit and come bearing not only gifts but life changing news.

Brenda and her team, with the help of Buzz' visiting sister Casey, must figure out who sabotaged a zip line leading to Santa Randy's death as he was making his entrance into a Christmas Village. The investigation focuses on Santa Jack McBride as well a stash of drugs and cash that were found at the Village.

The death of a high school principal who had been trying to raise test scores at his school to prevent it from being closed causes Brenda and Fritz to fight over who has control of the case because an already existing FBI investigation causes the cases to overlap.

Meanwhile, an underappreciated Capt. Raydor continues to document Major Crimes' every move. Worn down after two months of following them around, she begins to think about her role and its value to the LAPD.
