    • Joe was to have written a screenplay in 1996 for the First Comics' character, Grimjack, but scheduling conflicts from his working on Babylon 5 at the time as well as the company's bankruptcy making the character rights unavailable forced him to shelve the project altogether. According to Joe the budger for the film version was to have been set around $30 million and that he would remain faithful to the original source material.
      The character was revived by IDW Publishing in 2005 after the creators finally obtained the rights, but nothing has been stated about a screen adaptation as of this time.
