Jack's chosen format of laugh-at-every-word the host says, kiss every b-list interviewee's rear-end, and feature as many bobbleheaded sidekicks to agree agree agree. "You're right, hahaha" "WOW, Jack!" "Oh yes, absolutely! You are soooo right." If Erika didn't laugh at EVERY joke or agree with EVERY word Jack uttered the show would be less predictable, but not by much. The result is a morning show that's the cotton candy of radio, only less filling. ...If that's what you're into.
The music is okay, adult contemporary mix. However, the WRQX morning show is rediculously bad... The morning show's host, Jack Diamond is just plain out of touch with anyone under 50. Jack uses phrases like "don't want to lose my guy-card." Did you just say Guy card? really? And, Jack Diamond refers to making a phone call as "getting on the horn." Wow! Just like my grandad used to say. Oh, and Jack Diamond is obsessed with shows appealing to the cruise ship (Ledo deck) set, i.e. "American Idol." Because we can't get enough news on challanged karaoke? It's about time we heard some youth (under 50) on Mix 107.3 in the morning. Now, that would be refreshing :-)
