Jackie Joseph is known for playing a “dumb brunette” in many movies and television shows. Her ability to play innocence with sincerity led to her role as Audrey in 1960’s Little Shop of Horrors, which still may be her best known role. Jackie grew up in Los Angeles, and started studying acting while in high school. She took a job in the chorus of a musical playing in a Hollywood theater and was soon in demand as an actress, singer and dancer around Los Angeles. Her role in the popular Billy Barnes Revue led to movies and television roles dating from the late 1950s through the 1990s. Though she seldom had a leading role, she appeared as a guest star in countless television shows and became a familiar face to viewers.
