In his resume as of 2008, it says Jackson can play a character with the age range of four to eight years old. In season five of One Tree Hill, Jackson, who was six years old when the season was shot, plays a four-year-old kid, Jamie Scott.
On One Tree Hill, the house of the Scotts (Nathan, Haley, and Jamie) has a swimming pool so Jackson swims and plays in it while on breaks during filming.
Jackson says he's good at memorizing lines. On one occasion, he had to memorize six lines and he learned them in five minutes. Jackson's mom helps him with his lines.
The cast and crew of One Tree Hill are not allowed to swear around Jackson. They have to pay him $20.00 or a quarter every time they say a curse word. He said the biggest contributor was Paul Johansson who plays Dan Scott.
As of April 2008, Jackson has been living in Wilmington, North Carolina for the filming of One Tree Hill episodes. When he's not filming for the series, Jackson resides in Los Angeles, California with his family.
