James Kyson Lee

James: I've got the greatest life, really. I get to play for a living, and be a part of all these things I loved as a kid - superheroes, comic books, television, good guys and bad guys. I guess I never really grew up!

James: (About Heroes) When I read the pilot script I definitely felt there was something special about it. It was a page turner for sure. I couldn't put it down. I was really curious and excited to see how it was going to come together. I wasn't sure how it was going to be shot with people flying and regenerating and stopping time. I thought, "How are they going to shoot this?" But it's been amazing so far. They do such a great job and in the show we've gone everywhere from New York to India to Tokyo and Las Vegas and Texas, and sometimes it's all created here in L.A. So that's magic.

James: First of all, I think women are just the most beautiful creatures on the planet. But the things that I look for in a girl are sense of humor and good energy. I'm a very outgoing person so someone who abides with that, I am definitely more drawn to. Also character is important to me. Anything, you know. I'm drawn to people who are adventurous and people who are gifted. I like people who know how to give. Also to not be high-maintenance, but kind of a go-with-the-flow kind of thing.

James: Things that sizzle fast can also fizzle fast. Consistency, is the trademark of greatness.

James: I definitely feel that Ando is having his own "heroic" journey. When Ando first joined this wild adventure, he had no idea what he was getting into. It was friendship with Hiro, and perhaps the appeal of escaping the office life for a little while, that drew him out. Little did he know he was bound for a series of life-changing events. When Hiro mentions that "you don't have to have superpowers to be a hero," the statement lands on Ando. I feel that as we get deeper in this journey, Ando sees he, too, is an important part of a bigger mission, one that he and Hiro must accomplish together. We have some great stuff coming up in our storyline that will keep you on your toes.
