I love One Tree Hill. Nathan and Lucas are the main two characters and Nathan is played by James. James is an awesome actor. He does a great job playing Nathan Scott. I can't imagine anyone else playing the character. Nathan and Haley area huge couple on the show and a major chunk of it. They have a huge fan base and I am loving the story lines that they have right now and in the past. He did an awesome job playing Nathan the jerk and now a good job playing Nathan the nice lol. Awesome , talented actor. Im sure we will see more of him in the future.

He is the youngest actor on the set of One Tree Hill, portraying Nathan Scott. He has guest starred in TV Shows like Boston Public, Emiril, First Monday, Once and Again, Get Real, and a landing role in the Teen TV Drama One Tree Hill. He has been in three movies which are A Season on the Brink, Prep, and Boys on the Run. He needs to be recognized by all the people because he is very talented and very cool. His character on One Tree Hill was a bad ass in the beginning, but then he grew up to be a very grown up father and husband...and James knew how to portray him very well. He should be known for his talent.

Where do I begin with James? One thing is he is amazingly talented! He has continued to prove how talented he is through his character Nathan Scott on One Tree Hill. Words that I would use to descrbe James are: talented, handsome, geniune, caring, and just an overall sweetheart. From the first time I saw James act I knew that he was going to be something great! He seems to live a life that goes beyond the aspects of hollywood fame. Even though he's on a hit TV show he's a down to earth guy and it seems that he realizes that and keeps himself grounded.

James Lafferty one of the lead actors of one tree hill is a versatile actor. The fact that he pulls off different emotions for his character Nathan Scott who is supposedly the "mean half-brother" in season one actually made the audience hate him. And we gradually get an insight into why he is that way as the show progresses which James is able to portray really well. Around middle of season 1 we see that the reason Nathan acts all mean towards Chad's character "Lucas" is because his dad "Dan" really pressurises him to be the best and he sees Lucas as the only person who can change that. The way James portrays those confused emotions is brilliant. It gradually changes the audience's perception of his character.



In season two we see Nathan as the "better person" and a much better husband. The way he handles his personal life and friendship with his friends and half-brother Lucas makes the audience adore him.



In the show what drastically changes Nathan in becoming a better person is "Haley". The way he behaves when he is around her and around Lucas is completely different. That again is the result of good acting.



All in all I can conclude that James is not only a good actor but also very talented and original and his change of nature has really brought for him a large fan base who like him as well as respect him.

James Lafferty was born and raised in Hemet, California. James attended Hemet High School and played basketball for the Bulldogs, even earning the MVP award. He has been steadily working since the age of 6 when his mother encouraged him and his brother, Stuart Lafferty, to act as a hobby. At age ten, he received his first speaking part and, then later, a role on the short lived television series "Emeril" (2001) as Emeril Lagasse's son. James also made guest appearances as "Once and Again" (1999) (as Tad) and "Boston Public" (2000). He also had a role in the ESPN movie A Season on the Brink (2002) (TV), a basketball movie about the Indiana Hoosiers, where he was able to demonstrate his basketball skills. He graduated in 2003 from Hemet High and was enrolled at Cal State Long Beach before he received the role of "Nathan" on the WB Network's new series "One Tree Hill" (2003), filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina. Once in University, James plans on majoring in international studies.

Baby James - I looove James Lafferty!! He's soooo nice!! And for someone so, so nice, he does an amazing job playing the role of jerk Nathan Scott. He's got the x-factor!! haha!! No kidding... he's oozing with sex appeal!!! He looks good with anyone!!! I mean... he LOOKED good with Peyton... he obviously LOOKS good with Haley... and... he WILL LOOK good with Brooke!! haha!! James should be given more projects - movies, guestings, etc. I think.... had he been given the same amount of publicity as Chad Michael Murray, he'd be the bigger star. From season 1 of One Tree Hill it's amazing to see the growth James had. He went from the jerky jock to the knight in shining armour!



I always found it strange how James was always dressed in sports wear but mid season 2 - when he made dinner for Haley - wearing the black polo shirt. It was obvious to everyone, Baby James, was no longer a baby but a young man.



His portrayal of Nathan depicts a typical teenage boy, though when faced with the fact that he may lose his wife and child his heart felt plea to Haley to wiggle a finger and his teary prayer in the hospital chapel, had me falling in love with him again - which is weird because I don't recall falling out of love with Nathan.



His dedication for the role has me addicted to the show. And it doesn't hurt that he is EXTRA talented on the basketball court. Watching him play ball is mesmerising and being an avid basketball fan I can so see him playing college ball or something. Who knows, maybe art would imitate life!

James deserves to be put in the spotlight more often. he's talente, sexy, smart...just basically the perfect guy. he's the drive in the show, and with his looks no wonder he's suh a favorite. in some way or another, him being underated gives him a nice apeal cuz he's not as exposed as chad is. James has alot of things going for him and it's sad that he's not putting himself out their. the only time i've seen him in a magazine alone was when he was in the top sexist men alive thing. he's a great guy and i wish he he out their more.

He is definitely one of my favorite actors on One Tree Hill and one of the main reasons I began watching One Tree Hill. As of most of my favorite actors and actresses, I think it would be nice to see James in other productions besides One Tree Hill. I think he's a great actor because I definitely can sense his emotions through his characters and that's what makes watching him so enjoyable. I love James Lafferty so much. my friend got her picture taken with him at the Sunkist event in Georgia. she gave me a copy of it and it is right by my bed. He is such a great actor. i love the Haley Nathan relationship. i am so excited that they are going to have a baby. That makes me really happy. i never miss a show. i am like addicted to it. I normally tape it so i can watch it over and over and over again. i normally just watch the scences with nathan in them though. I love the show very much! it is perfect!!

I know most people would say he is just hot but he is. He is also a very talented actor and he can play basketball too. One Tree Hill is a great show that was made for him. I love how they make him do those hot 3 pointers and the dunks. Most people they would have to lower the basket to 8 feet but he can get get to the 10 feet. He definatly makes the show what it is. It keeps the show from doing twenty retakes and saves them money then if you were to pick someone without so much talent.

He's the youngest cast member on the show, but yet he has such a presence and confidence when he's on screen, he looks like a pro. He has a great character, and does such a good job of portraying him. Personally, he is one of my favourite actors of all time, and I have only seen him act on One Tree Hill for some 3 and a bit seasons now. I enjoyed his scenes when his wife on the show left him half way through season 2, and he had to deal with that. This is because he played these emotions so well and true to real life, I really loved watching it. He had a lot more screen time to himself, showing different emotions than we had seen him show before on the show, and he did an unbelievable job. They couldn't have asked for anymore from him. A lot of shows and actors try and fail to really portray heartbreak on screen. But One Tree Hill, and specifically James Lafferty, did the best job that I have ever seen at bringing those horrible feelings to life. And for that I think he is an amazing actor! Ok I really idolize this guy because he's been acting since six and that is my passion man! I doubt it will ever be, but still I really idolize him. I think it's really cool that he played basketball in his high school and won MVP. While on the show he also plays basketball and he is the team's captain. His character is a jerk which quickly matured and learned life's lessons because of a girl names Haley and because his parents are fighting, he needed to grow up in order to stand-up for himself.
