James Lew

James Lew is an actor, stuntman, stunt coordinator and producer from South Central Los Angeles. He was born on September 6, 1953 in Escalon, California and is trained in Kung Fu, Tae Kwon Do, Submission Grappling and Western Boxing. He began his career when he heard a Hollywood producer was looking for stuntmen trained in the martial arts. He has since worked as a stuntman on dozen of films including "Inception," "Red Sands," "Tropical Thunder," "Rush Hour 3," "Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End" and "The Last Samurai." His experience as a stuntman lead him to the position of stunt coordinator for many films including "Killers," "Collateral," "Get Smart" and "Order of Chaos." He has also starred in over a hundred movies general playing the part of the villain, who in the end is overpowered by the good guy. He has worked with stars such as Brad Pitt, Steven Segal, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Sylvester Stallone and Dennis Quaid. Some movies he played in are "Big Trouble in Little China," "Lethal Weapon 4," "Red Sun Rising," "the Hitman Chronicles," "Taken by Force" and "Rush Hour 2." In addition to movies he also made guest appearances in many television series including "Rosanne," "Growing Pains," "Alias," "Chuck," "Eve" and CSI: Miami." He was the choreography for several television shows, such as "Fight Science" and "Entourage." In 2011, he wrote, produced and starred in "Tengu: The Immortal Blade."
