James Read

James started studying law at Oregon University, but close to his graduation, he discovered his love for theatre.

James appeared in the series finale of Charmed along with Jennifer Rhodes, Finola Hughes, Wesley Ramsey and Drew Fuller.

James has only appeared in three major films Beaches, Legally Blonde and Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde. James has also appeared in many smaller budget/independent films in his career.

James made several appearances on the TV series Murder She Wrote.

James did several episodes of the TV series Sabrina, the Teenage Witch.

James was a regular guest star on the TV series Remington Steele.

James had a recurring role as "Victor Bennett" on the TV series Charmed for eight seasons. Originally, the role of "Victor Bennet", was played by another actor. This lasted for only one episode - every other episode with the girls' father in it was played by James.

James is 6' 2" tall.

James and his wife, Wendy, married in 1988 and have two children, son - Jackson, daughter - Sydney. They also have two dogs, Charlie & Hank, and a cat, Mable.
