  • Quotes

    • Jamie: (On one of the ways he tried to impress a girl) I jumped over three trash cans with my bike to get a girl to like me. I crashed. That didn't work but it did work after I went back to her and she was like, "Oh my God, are you O.K.?" I was like, "No! We have to make out." I got the sympathy kiss.

    • Jamie: (On learning to break-dance for his movie, Kickin' It Old School) It was very hard. I used to have to go to this break dancing class and I went for 15 months and we'd break dance on the weekend and it was basically a break dancing boot camp. It was a lot. I was sore. We'd break dance so much, my eyes would hurt. Every muscle had to be accounted for.

    • Jamie: (About how he came up with the concept of Malibu's most wanted) It came from a character that I did on my show, Brad Gluckman. The character was something that I always wanted to do because there are so many guys – I'm one of them – white kids that think they're black. So I thought that would be a good character to do a movie about.

    • Jamie: I won't be tricked by these on-line love affairs, I just won't go there. I may get lonely, and I do not like to hang in a place where I pick up my women, but I will not be on-line, lookin' for love. I have heard too many stories.

    • Jamie: The thing I hate to hear most from a pet owner, is that they just dropped their pet off somewhere, when they didn't want it anymore. As if the pet was trash, or a library book that they couldn't be bothered with returning. Animal cruelty really bothers me.

    • Jamie: Sometimes, It's just cool to drive around all day with your homies, listening to music. Ya aren't really going anywhere, but if ya see something that ya like, ya pull it on over, and sit a spell.

    • Jamie: Ithink that people take themselves just way too seriously these days, I am serious. I have had to make more apologies lately, than I care to mention, people need to adopt a laid-back attitude.

    • Jamie: I prefer to do comedy over drama, because I think I am just plain better at it. I have always wanted to be 'The Funny Guy' at parties, or in social settings, or at the gas station....

    • Jamie: I just feel cleaner when I eat vegan, clean & clear...also, would you EAT your cat? So, why eat a cow? I was at a farm, staring at a cow once, I went to pet it, and he was so cute. I thought 'I don't want to chew you, you are too cute', it felt inhumane.

    • Jamie: I love pulling out of control, slap my butt, crazy pranks on people. I try to keep a straight face, but sometimes I lose it, and either I go with it, and it works out, or I lose the prank at that moment.
