Jamie: I learned to not judge my daughter and anything that she does, that her experiences are hers and that I have to walk a mile in her shoes before I can make any comment about those. Curtis on what she learned from her movie, Freaky Friday

Jamie: My favorite good mommy film is Touch of Evil. My favorite bad film is Night of the Lepus, which is about her and some giant bunnies. Jamie when asked about the most and least favorite films of her mother, Janet Leigh.

Jamie: The good film would be Some Like It Hot. He's just so fabulous and it's such free work. The bad movie would be Boeing, Boeing. When asked which of her father's films she liked.

Jamie: I wear black long sleeved shirts and pants, and usually a baseball cap – everyday! I stopped showing my arms long ago. I was on Jay Leno and I remember waving goodbye, and I swear to god if you watch a tape of it, you'll see I get this panic look in my eye. I look at my right arm and there's something moving that I wasn't planning on moving. Since that time I've just realized that people have this image of my figure, so I wear no clothes that attract any attention. No one has seen me in a bathing suit in ten years. --Jamie's reply when asked how she stays in shape.

Jamie: Oh, I had zero self esteem growing up. I was the daughter of a famous person and so basically everything is taken away from you. And no matter how many times I tried, every day to be a real human being, do everything everyone else does, I was still a famous person's kid and therefore I don't think people really ever gave me any credit for actually sort of being me on the planet. --Curtis on growing up as a child of celebrities

Jamie: I'm genetically wired like my mom, so I have large breasts, a thin waist, I look good. My father's mother's genes started to visit at about 40 and my Grandma Helen moved in, and that was the moment when my life really started to change. That was when I started to alter myself a little — get a little this, get a little that, fight it off, fight it off. --Jamie on her body image and growing older

Jamie: I have decided to focus my attention on children's related causes with my celebrity. The celebrity klieg light that attaches to any celebrity (even if mine is fading), I still get it, so the whole idea is to take the light and reflect it back on something other than me. Believe me, I don't want any more attention. In doing so I found that children's related causes are something that I naturally feel compelled to work with. --Curtis on being compelled to work with children's charities

Jamie: I've had all sorts of successes since I first became an actor at 18, but I'd have to say that having my book land on the New York Times bestseller list is the greatest achievement of my external life. To have a book --- something from my head --- speak to people on some level means more than any awards or movies or ratings. --Curtis on becoming a successful author

Jamie: My breasts are beautiful, and I gotta tell you, they've gotten a lot of attention for what is relatively short screen time. -- Jamie on appearing nude

Jamie: The more I like me, the less I want to pretend to be other people. -- Jamie on learning to like herself

Jamie: I used to dream of being normal. For me, if Kirk Douglas walked into the house, that was normal. -- Jamie on growing up in a famous household
