Jamie is reportedly dating actress Rachelle Lefevre.
Jamie has posed for the Roy Tan photo exhibit, "The West End Stage--Dance, Musicals, and Plays," the proceeds of which go to UK based actor's charities. He posed while he was in the National Theatre's production of "The History Boys" with costar Steven Webb in January 2006.
His parents are director Christopher King and writer Laura Lamson.
Jamie King trained at LAMDA (London Academy of Musical and Dramatic Art) and completed a three year diploma course.
Jamie has appeared in "Romeo and Juliet" at Liverpool Playhouse and "Culpability" on the Edinburgh Fringe on stage. On television in the U.K., he has appeared in "Casualty", "Midsomer Murders", "Bad Girls" and "Shades". He film work includes "Vampire Video Diary", "The River King" and "Tristan and Isolde".
In the spring of 2007, Jamie flew in from the set of "The Tudors" to take over the role of Dakin in "The History Boys" on the West End. He was scheduled to appear for about a month to replace the previous actor who left hastily.
Jamie King toured as Dakin in the hit Alan Bennett play, "The History Boys" on the British national tour.
