What can I saw about one of the best performances in the movie 'The Robe', and an even better comedic one in the 1957 version of 'My Man Godfrey' (and he actually sang)? Mr. Robinson's singing of the song, "Lovely" in 'MMG' is still remembered to this very day, and he made it believable at that. One of the 'greats' in a day and time where this is said less and less as time goes on. Jay has a lot to be proud of and his movies have stood the test of time, where as I'm sure most people thoroughly enjoyed the original version of 'My Man Godfrey', Jay, and the rest of the cast made this version a comedy classic, or at least in my opinion they did.
