The path to becoming a dramatic actor was inevitable for Jennie Raymond. She was born in Halifax and graduated from Dalhousie University in 1994 with a BA in theatre.
Her work at home in Canada, particularly Atlantic Canada, is already well known. She's performed with Shakespeare by the Sea, played the role of Nellie MacLean in the Cape Breton-shot Pit Pony, performed with Festival Antigonish and was lead in Anne at Halifax's Neptune Theatre.
She recently picked up a Gemini award for her supporting role in Blue Murder.
She currently lives in Toronto.
