Jennifer Ann Agutter was born on December 20, 1952 in England. Daughter of Derek Brodie Agutter, a British officer, and Catherine Kit Lyman. She spent her early childhood in Singapore, Germany, Sri Lanka (formerly Ceylon), Malaysia, Cyprus and other countries before returning to England to go the Elmhurst Ballet School -where her first role (as a young dancer) came at the age of 11. Jenny moved to Hollywood at age 21. After appearing in The Railway Children, she was always in demand for screen roles. Jenny met Johan Tham, a Swedish hotel director, in 1989 during an arts festival in… More Bath, England and the two married on August 4, 1990. They have one son, Jonathan, who was born in December of 1990. Jenny and her family are known to currently reside in England.
