Buffer Pete Tomaszewski played by Jeremy Lindsay Taylor
Petty Officer Bosun Pete Tomaszewski (Buffer) takes the attack on Charge hardest of all the crew. For him it's a violation of the family - what is done to one is done to all. Buffer finds himself on a hair-trigger with uncooperative illegals and reining him in becomes a challenge for Kate.
Buffer also has personal concerns on his mind. His new girlfriend, Monica, has decided to take a holiday with a male "friend". This greatly concerns Buffer and, to make matters worse, Monica won't answer his phone calls! After a night out with the boys Buffer fails to appear back on Hammersley. Could he be chasing after Monica? Buffer is in fact following a lead on Charge's attackers, which sees him stumble across the mercenaries' base of operations. As a result, he comes close to losing his life, but later, he is able to give Mike vital information on the impending coup.
