Jerry: My days with
Babylon 5 were great. I have no downside to
Babylon 5. For me, it was a tremendous experience, and opened a lot of doors, and I made great friends, and it stepped up my lifestyle – so what could I have bad to say about it?
-
Jerry: Yeah. And I'm more of a free-flowing – I like to pick up on the energies of the day, I like to tell jokes, I like to mess with the crew, I like the crew to mess with me, because I've done my work at home. Now I'm ready to go to work, I know what I have to do, but I like to... I just like that whole free-flow format – just see what happens.
-
Jerry: If you're not having fun - I don't care what you're doing - don't do it. Move on. Find something else, life's too short.
-
Jerry: There are so many talented actors in Hollywood that never get a chance to work, and it's not because they can't do it - it's because it's a very uncomfortable, unsettling, non-theatrical environment to get a job.
-
Jerry: If you're just sucking eggs and it's not working out for you - then find something that makes you want to get out of bed in the morning, hit the floor running, and say, "Damn, this is going to be a great day." Because when you wake up in the morning, you're already ahead of the game.
-
Jerry: I'm not sure what I want to do when I grow up, or if I'm sure I ever want to grow up. I'm sure there are people that wish I would, but you know, my mom will get over it.
-
Jerry: I call it like I see it. I don't hold back when it comes to being candid on the hot issues.
-
Jerry: I believe in financial retirement. I don't necessarily believe in physical retirement.
-
Jerry: A large part of the people in Hollywood are sheep - and I don't say that unkindly, I say that politically - if Spielberg and Streisand and Geffen and the others were Republicans tomorrow, you would see a shortage of paper to try and change registrations.
-
Jerry: I was 35 years old and in a position to take a shot at whatever I wanted to try. The Air Force said I was too old to fly fighter jets. I thought about becoming a fishing boat captain, before deciding that acting seemed pretty cool.
-
Jerry: I never realized that growing up in Brooklyn, flying jets, working on Wall Street and starring in a sci-fi series was the prerequisite for the fast-paced demands of talk radio. But, if that's what it takes to succeed, I'm glad I did it all.
