Jesse: (on his debut album) People are going to be shocked by my first album. It is going to reveal my unseen mature side and I've even co-written some of the songs. I think I could be the next James Blunt.
Jesse: (the most romantic thing he's ever done for a girl) Probably a surprise trip to the Bahamas with my first girlfriend. That was pretty romantic, and a good time. I think it's the little things that really show you care, and that you're romantic on a daily basis. Little notes are nice, or gifts, or just taking a girl out to dinner and showing her a good time and treating her well. Those kind of things.
Jesse: (remembering his school days) I wasn't in the popular crowd. I was more of an outsider. A little bit on a loner, kind of like an alternative kid. I was into dyeing my hair different colours and wearing concert T-shirts. I played sports a little bit, but I wasn't a jock. I was into the arts, but I wasn't an art school nerd. I was just me, I guess. I only had a couple of good friends and went out with the same girl three out of four years of high school.
Jesse: I'm making out with girls on TV all day, so I can't be hanging out with a girl that get jealous too easily.
Jesse: (on his most embarrassing moment) When I was 15, I went to Aruba with a friend. We rented Jet Skis, which you could only ride for about 20 minutes, the you had to bring them back. Some of the pro guys were beaching theirs, driving them onto the sand and looking all cool. I was like, 'I want to do that.' I pulled mine onto the sand and got tossed over the front of it. There were, like, 60 people waiting to rent Jet Skis, and everyone was cracking up. I stood up, and everyone applauded. It was pretty embarrassing.
Jesse: I work out five times a week. If my shirt's off all the time on national television with 20 million people watching, I want to look my best!
Jesse: (on being labeled as a sex symbol) Sometimes...that kind of objectification can wear on you a little bit but it's part of what I do, and I'm very comfortable with myself and if people choose to label me as a "sex symbol" then there's nothing I can really do about it so...and there's worse things you can be called so, it's all good.
Jesse: I believe in lust at first sight. I mean, come on, love at first sight? I was mesmerised at first sight. I think you can feel strongly about someone after a first meeting, but if that evolves into love it's kind of coincidental.
Jesse: I like girly girls. I like a girl who is confident, intelligent, likes to have fun, is open to experiencing new things and is into music. If a girl's not into music, I can't hang with her very long.
