Stevie Nicks wrote the hit song "Leather and Lace" for Waylon and Jessi to perform. Although they recorded an album called "Leather and Lace" they never made a studio recording of Nicks' song.
The album "Outlaws" which included Waylon Jennings, Tompall Glaser and Willie Nelson, as well as Ms. Colter, was the first country music album to be certified platinum (selling over a million copies).
