Just so folks know, Mags and Diana are heading this up with Jim's complete knowledge and blessing! This is a cause dear to his heart, and every little bit can help.

From the John Wayne Cancer Foundation site itself:
John Wayne beat lung cancer in 1964. He died 15 years later after a struggle with cancer of the stomach. During this difficult period, he became passionate about helping others fight this terrible disease. To honor his memory, his family created the John Wayne Cancer Foundation (JWCF) to bring courage, strength and grit to the fight against cancer.

As for Team Duke, here's their blurb:
Team DUKE is an athletic fundraising program unlike any other. You pick the sport. You pick the event. We'll help you get geared up, enlist sponsors and meet your goals. And all of your hard work benefits the John Wayne Cancer Foundation, an organization that brings courage, strength and grit to the fight against cancer.

Okay, so we're not a sport and probably not very athletic, lol, but the important thing is, we as SPN fans are a team. Times are hard, and we're all having to scrimp and save (especially those of us with cons in our future!) but even just a few dollars adds up. If ten people donate ten bucks ... and then ten more ... there you have it!

So please, if you can, give a little and help save lives.
    Cheers ~

    Erin
