Jim Carrey is no doubt one of my favorite actors. He's obviously a hilarious person. He's funny guy, too, and no matter what his role, serious dude or laidback bum, his character always finds some sort of crazy and gut-busting scheme to take part in. I love all of his movies and it is nearly impossible for any film to fail when Carrey is a part of. Great actors will do that. The plot for the movie/sitcom they're partaking in may be crappy as all the other characters involved, but the best in the business will do away with all of that.

Wow! I couldn't believe my own eyes at all. Jim Carrey is the most definitely funnist actor alive for his own age. Most comedians around his age has took dive or want downhill. But he is totally different story than other comedians around his age. Jim Carrey has never falling bring us great entertainment into films at all. Oh, Man! Jim Carrey shares the same spot to Tim Allen, both are my number 1 actors of all times.

ah Jim carrey is super funny man and act annying and bothers people but it's super freakin' funny. this guy is my top favorite actor. My favorite movies that Jim carrey is in are the Mask (My most favorite movie of all time) Ace Ventura Pet detective, Dr. Susses how the Grinch stole Christmas, Liar Liar, Bruce Almighty and more. Man this guy is a Comic genuis man Jim Carrey should get an Oscar but he's never been nominated for one but I hope he does maybe he's mosty in comdey movies but he is still the best comdeic Actor ever!

Could I make 100 words about him, yes but I won't. He was hilarious in Lair Lair, The Mask, Batman(As the Riddler). He played a more serious character in the movie: The Number 23. How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Having Fun with Dick & Jane. It all started with Lair Lair. He is just a good actor, though, I have yet to see, Yes Man. How can I forget about Dumb & Dumber. Just flat-out funny. I also need to watch Ace Ventura, since I don't remember. I would like to see him play a villian in any movie. Anyways, just a talented, funny actor.

Born James Eugene Carrey on 17 Jan, 1962 in Newmarket, Ontario, he appeared in various movies and television shows before gaining fame in the 1994 films Ace Ventura, The Mask, and Dumb & Dumber. Perhaps the funniest actors I've ever watched, I found him to be a serious actor in The Truman Show, where he played a man whose life had been made into a television show. He appeared in notable comedies such as Liar Liar, Ace Ventura, Bruce Almighty, The Grinch. In making the latter, he endured many hours of suffering to bring a Christmas masterpiece to his devoted fans. He'll be playing four characters in the upcoming CGI film, A Christmas Carol.

Comedy stylings come in many variations. There's the deadpan delivery of Stephen Wright. Many loved the foul-mouthed, thought provoking rants of George Carlin and Richard Pryor. Others are drawn to the wry, sardonic, observational humor of Jerry Seinfeld. For physical humor, Jim Carrey ranks among the best in his genre. His style of comedy ranks him in such company as Laurel and Hardy, Rowan Atkinson, John Ritter, The Three Stooges and Chris Farley to name but a few. His ability to contort his face into his alternate stage personas is uncanny and his skill at slapstick is undeniable. It may not be everyone's personal taste, but for those who appreciate it, he is one of the best.

...The Cable Guy!! Yes, you heard me. I did not like that movie at all. Jim Carrey...Like Matt Daemon tends to play the bad guy or villain in some way or another. I know he's supposed to be funny, but really? What is so funny about a guy (Jim Carrey) beating up another guy (Whoever was supposed to be his "friend" on the movie). In Good Will Hunting, Matt Daemon beat someone up. That still gets to me. Also, in one of the earlier Batman movies, Jim Carrey plays The Riddler...One of Batman's arch-enemies. If this is not enough to prove why old-man Jim should retire and try...Well...Writing his own comedy where he is the good guy like Frasier for a change...Unless he already has or had one...Drama Storm OUT.

Okay Now, When i discover in the past life between Tim Allen & Jim Carrey them? They both have started out in their popular careers at the same time year! Beforce their first popular movie the had shows right before them. Tim Allen had Home Improvement as Tim Tayor known as Tim the Tool Man Tayor. And for Jim Carrey, He had Living Color as himself in alot of Disguises Characters. Okay, What i mean is for Tim Allen & Jim Carrey started out in the same year together into their popular career Movies! Tim Allen have The Santa Clause in 1994 as Scott Calvin known as Santa Claus. And for Jim Carrey, He have Ace Ventura in 1994 as Ace Venture known as a Pet Detective.

I love this man so much (no, not literally). Some of my all time favorite movies star him, like Dumb and Dumber, The Mask, Liar Liar, Bruce Almighty, and The Grinch. There are so many more movies starring him that I love, but I don't want to list them all. Let's see: if there are two words to describe him, I would say probably COMEDIC GENIUS. I think lots of people will agree with me on that. He just has so much talent it's hard to explain. He is just hilarious, every movie he's in always turns out to be side splitting, with the exception of Eternal Moonshine, which is more of a drama than comedy. But you know what? Speaking of Eternal Moonshine, who knew Carrey could achieve a drama?! Wow. That tells me straight out that he's excellent playing serious characters AND funny characters. Totally amazing. This actor just blows my mind.

Jim Carrey is one of my favorite actors! He is so funny and he can do so many voices. He was able to pull of the grinch so well along with a dumb guy in Dumb and Dumberer and a lawyer who cant lie for a day in Liar Liar! He is able to play so many characters with so many different voices. A few of my fav. movies that he has been in were Bruce Almighty, The Truman Show, and Liar Liar. a famous movie he was in was A series of Unfortunate Events where he played A crazy man. He is one of the most talented actors in show biz!

Jim Carrey is the Albert Einstein of Comedy well, he is to me! I mean He's funny and Talented. Its amazing, He's Amazing! Jim Carrey is one of the funniest guys in movies but now that he is changing his ways and going into dramatic roles, i just dont think he gets it: he needs to stick with the funny stuff, cuz thats what he's good at. I mean, he was really good in that 23 movie but i just dont think he should stick with that. He's just a naturaly funny guy! I know a lot of people find him annoying or something, but thats probably why he is so funny! The fact that he is annoying to some people might be funny. I dono. w/e. i think he's funny!

Although I don't favor all of his movies, Jim Carrey is a pretty cool actor. He is great at comedic roles like Ace Ventura and Dumb and Dumber, but he can also play the serious role. A great example is Bruce Almighty. His character makes us laugh, but we can also get serious for a few moments in between the laughter, as Bruce Nolan experiences some changes in his life. He was also great in The Truman Show and The Majestic. I wouldn't be surprised if we see a lot more from Mr. Carrey.

He is one of the best actors I have had a honor of watching. Any role he plays he does it so good. He is what makes the movie he is in good.

Jim Carrey is one of the best comedians ever as everyone knows but here's something you probably didn't know about him when he was around the age of 13 he was a gang member in an episode of Happy Days. I know what you're thinking right know you're probably saying "he was"? Well yes he was well then some years later he was doing stand up comedy in which he did impressions of famous people such as Jack Nicholson and Clint Eastwood. Well I have one thing to say congratulations to Jim for making it out of Newmarket, Canada and to being an A-list celeb who is dating Jenny McCarthy.

Jim Carey...he just doesn't get it. I don't like any of his humour, it's silly, slapstick and stupid and not funny at all. In just about every single movie he is isn, he has the same wacky character who is not funny. His best movie is Bruce Almighty and even in that I find him annoying.

He is funny in some way. He really knows how to play original and most of the time troubled mind characters. And that is why it is so cool, I also like him as a villain because he makes even crazier things like on Batman Forever, he is great and he is really cool, I like his way of acting.

Definitely the best movie comedian of the 90s! Although Carrey got his start in an earlier movie, he really made his mark in Hollywood with the success of "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective." From there, his career sky-rocketed. While he has stayed to mostly comedic roles, he has ventured into some action and dramatic roles. The best of his dramatic movies, in my opinion, in "The Truman Show."

LOL this guy is so Funny. I have seen him in almost all of his funniest movies. I do remember watching one movie of his that was serious. It was called the Majestic. That one was like the only serious I've seen him in. I love every movie he has ever been in and It's rare to see him in a non Comedy movie.

His movies are just fantastic and especially FUNNY. He can make you laugh without saying a word. How? He makes faces and does things where I'm just rolling on the floor laughing. I can't help it I have seen almost every movie of him and when I see them for the hunderd time it still makes me laugh! He has also proven that he can be a magnificent actor as we saw in "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind". That movie is as good as his acting talent......VERY GOOD!! I hope I will see him in a lot of other movies.

Jim Carrey came from Canada looking to make it big. He promised himself he would make 10 million dollars and become a great comedian. He did just that. Jim Carrey is now a great actor and does great movies. While he over does some of his roles and some not right he still is a great actor and will continue to make great films in the future. Jim Carrey is by far a great comedian and stars in great movies. Do yourself a favor and watch him do his magic in his films.

I owe who I am to this guy...he inspired my life, and made me who i am today. I remember always looking forward to watching The Mask cartoon in the afternoons when I was in kindergarden...and I absolutely loved it. Then I ended up seeing Jim Carrey movies after that, because I loved the guy. I soon started acting like him, and at these days, this is when your personality develops. Now I can call myself pretty much his clone, and I want to become an actor someday. I even make my own movies in my free time...Ilove this guy...

Very Rarely Has any Of Carrey's movies Been A flop. It doesnt really matter what the movie or how bad it sounds, he gets very into the character and you can really see how he brings the movie to life. Jim Carrey Used To have his own show (where he was first dicovered I bolieve) Carrey has touched many in his Drama films such as 'The Majestic', But he somehow finds a way to also be as crazy as possable like in 'Batman returns,' Or 'The mask,' Even The cable guy. we all look forward to seeing Carrey shine in upcoming films.

Jim Carrey rocks! He is hillarious, and a very talented. He will go down as one of the all-time greats when his acting carrer is over. My absolute favroite movie that he was in was Dumb and Dumberer, witch is probaly my favroite live action comedy from the 90's. Dumb and Dumberer gave him stardom. Still any thing that has Jim Carrey acting in it is gold. I've been wondering if it is just me or is he been missing from the big screen recently (It's probaly just me.) To rap up another review, I want to say Jim Carrey is a magnificent comedian. Yet again you can tell you're freinds that: Flats_flounder has spoken.

In my opinion, Jim Carrey is one of the best comedy actors around today. All of his movies are fantastic. Jim is such a funny person and he is so extremely cute. I think he was born to be a comedy actor. He is so awesome and he can always make me laugh! My favourite movies that he was in are: "Ace Venture: When Nature Calls", "Bruce Almighty", "How The Grinch Stole Christmas", and "Liar Liar." I can't wait to see the next Jim Carrey movie.
