Jim Dale is a fantastic voice actor. I personally heard of him from the Harry Potter Audio book series. His voice is clear and simple but with so much feeling that it feels like someone has added a secret never-to-be-revealed ingredient in his unique timbre. As i was flipping through the channels, I went to a rather interesting scene of a woman and her dog singing at a coffee shop. Strangely compelled and slightly bemused I kept watching. Then, an all too familiar voice illuminated the edges of the screen. It was the soothing British accent of Jim Dale. I cannot tell you how great it is that he finally took a step towards television. He is truly one of a kind.
