    • JoMarie has been nominated for three Image Awards for her character Suga Mama. Twice for The Proud Family in 2003 and 2005 and once for The Proud Family Movie in 2006. She was nominated in the category of Outstanding Performance in a Youth/Children's Series/Special for all three nominations.

    • In 1999 Jo released a jazz album titled 'Southern Shadows'.

    • She actually played the charector of Harriette Winslow for a total of eleven seasons combineing her time on "Perfect Strangers" and the on "Family Matters"

    Jo Marie played Harriette Winslow on Family Matters for most of the series she left with only a few epiosdes left, she is a telented actress and she played Harriette, the whole cast of Family Matters was top notch.



    I had the pleasue of meeting Jo Marie once in person, and she is a wonderful person to talk to, she is a great person on and off TV, and I'm glad I had the oppertunity to meet her.moreless
