JoAnna: (On guest starring on any other show besides "How I Met Your Mother") I'm a pretty huge fan of Modern Family, I just find it so hilarious! Hot in Cleveland is another of my favourites--any chance to work with Betty White, because she's amazing! Plus the other women on the show are great too. Anywhere that might take me to a really fun, warm location--like Hawaii Five-0 or something like that--would be great too!
JoAnna: (On comparisons between the TV series "Better With You" and "Reba") There are so many comparisons, both on-screen and off-screen, that I find with Reba and this show! Obviously, it's the same sort of format with a little bit a modern twist, and the inter-personal relationships amongst our cast are also very similar. It's very much a family atmosphere, we all sort of settled in and kinda fell in love with each other. It's such a beautiful blessing to go to work with people that you love and admire.
JoAnna: (On being engaged at the same time as her character Mia on the TV series "Better With You".) It was fun! But planning my real wedding was different to planning Mia's wedding! Plus, we're not pregnant [like Mia]. It actually reminded me a lot of the premiere of Reba, in which my character found out that she was pregnant at the age of 17 and was getting married. It brought back a lot of memories of that and I thought "well, if that's a good luck charm--because Reba lasted six years--I'm more than happy to put on that pregnancy suit for seven months and deal with that because it was definitely a good omen for us then.
JoAnna: (talking about filming her new movie, "Very Merry Daughter of the Bride" in Calgary, Canada) At 40 below it was a little beyond comprehension. It was so insane they had to cancel a couple of days because the cameras were cracking. It was a wonderful experience. We almost didn't feel it after a while. You get a little numb. I was out there powering through in high heels.
JoAnna: Surround yourself with good people and stay out of trouble. Just appreciate how awesome we are and how much power we do have and support each other.
JoAnna: The main thing is, believe in yourself. Reach out and go after it.
JoAnna: My career didn't go into super-stardom when I got it. I've been able to grow and get better.
Joanna: I hope we paint the picture that it's tough. I've heard some girls saying, Oh, I love Cheyenne's life. I wish I could be like her. Of course, not pregnant. I'm going, Whew, thank goodness. I don't want anybody to watch me and say, I'm seventeen, and I'm going to get pregnant and get married.
JoAnna: Whenever I'm belting out a song, my boyfriend asks me to stop. He's like, Please, no. He's in a band called Evan & Jaron and he's so musically talented. He and his twin brother harmonize beautifully together.
