Joanna Lumley

In May 2000, Joanna won the BAFTA Special Award for her role in The Avengers. She shared the award with the three other ladies who played Steed's partner over the years. They were; Honor Blackman, Diana Rigg and Linda Thorson.

In 2003, Joanna won the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) award for Best Light Entertainment Performance for her role as Patricia "Patsy" Stone on Absolutely Fabolous.

Joanna is a Buddhist, having been born in India to Buddhist parentage.
