Jodi Benson actually never really intended to get into movies, much less into animated movies.

Jodi went to college at Millikin University, in Decatur, Illinois.

Jodi Benson won the Drama-Logue Award for Best Actress. She had received also verios nominations like a Tony nomination for best actress and a Fennecus award nomination for her vocal performance in Hans Christian Anderson's Thumbelina.

Jodi does the voice of Princess Atta in the video game for A Bug's Life.

Funny that at times, she would do voices of mermaids in many programs because of her major role as Ariel.
