Joe: I think I'm someone who takes a lot of chances and is always willing to try something new. I hate being bored, so I'm always looking for new ideas and ways to entertain myself and my friends. But I also think I can be a bit of a loner. I often will go out running in the park and I never want anyone to be with me then. I like having the chance to think, to be quiet with myself.

Joe: In school, kids are always trying to fit in with the crowd. Everyone goes through that and feels peer pressure from that. I know I did when I was growing up. I definitely wanted to hang out with the cool kids and tried to be something I'm not.

Joe: If you like the same girl as one of your best friends, you won't go after her, and my brothers and I are best friends. I'd rather have my best friend than some girl we're fighting over.

Joe: I always fall or trip, but I just get back up and keep rocking out. Sometimes I see a speaker and I'm just like, "Don't trip!"

Joe: I know my brothers think I'm crazy and wild, and that I'm always running around and doing crazy things. But I can be serious when it comes to thinking about the future. And I can be serious and focused when it comes to my career.

Joe: I really enjoy going out and doing things, having fun, and I like to have a girl with me who enjoys those things with me. There's nothing worse than having a girlfriend or a friend who's always negative about everything you love. If I'm enjoying myself, I like to turn to the person I'm with and see that person enjoying herself too. It's a downer to hang out with someone who isn't excited about life.

Joe: When I meet a fan, I always try to learn something about that fan. I want our fans to feel comfortable talking to me, and I like to hear them tell me stories about themselves.

Joe: I will always notice the girl who's dressed up. I also notice someone who has a lot of confidence, someone who has a big smile, someone who isn't afraid to talk. But a girl can have all those qualities, and if she's dressed like a slob, I won't get the chance to notice those other qualities. I really like seeing a girl in a dress, looking her best.

Joe: I was going to make movies. I was the one in the family who was always rolling the video camera, making movies of my brothers around town, and then screening them for my parents. I still would love to make movies someday...that's something that really means a lot to me, and I know I'll have the chance to do it one day.

Joe: I think my confidence is what makes me good on stage. I'm not afraid to climb up on something. My dream is to one day have a stage set up where I can fly over the audience. Now that would be something special!

Joe: (About his "Camp Rock" audition). I sent in a video on some really ghetto camera, and Disney asked me to send it again because the film wasn't very good. They couldn't really hear my voice. For a week, I totally forgot about it, and I was like, "There's no way I got it." After that week, my dad and manager sat me down in a room, and I thought I was in trouble. I was like, "What did I do?" Everything was going through my mind. They finally told me I got the movie! I was like, "What?" and totally freaking out!
