John: (recalling an enounter with a Guiding Light fan) I was at the top of the Leaning Tower of Pisa and someone said to me, 'You know, I like Grant [Aleksander, the original Phillip] so much better than you!'

John: (about working on Guiding Light) More than anything I have just good memories of wacky people having a great time. We did a remote when Kurt and Mindy got married, and I had to spend two days upstate with all these crazy people from the show.
