Alyssa Harris (BARBARA NIVEN), is a hardworking, successful woman. When her husband died several years ago, Alyssa was left to raise her daughter Danielle (DANIELLE KIND), and her 17 year-old son Jason (MATTHEW RAUDSEPP) on her own. Danielle, a hair stylist, and Jason, about to go off to college, have never kept any real secrets from their mother... until now.

What Alyssa doesn't know is that Jason, along with his friends Ty Benoit, and brothers Cody (JOHN BREGAR) and Gabe Masterson, have just become a part of something that will change everyone's life forever. When the boys hire a stripper (ASHLEY JONES) to do a private show at the lake house belonging to Cody and Gabe's parents (LINDEN ASHBY, SOPHIE GENDRON), they never imagine the night will end in the beautiful girl's death at the hands of Cody. Faced with a black cloud hanging over their future, the boys decide to keep the death a secret, making a pact to never tell.

Except, Jason soon realizes his conscience won't let him...Realizing Jason is about to break down, Cody and Gabe murder Jason and make it look like a suicide. Needing to understand why

her son killed himself and whether or not she could have prevented it, Alyssa begins to try to piece together what happened in Jason's life prior to his death. Enlisting the help of Danielle, mother and daughter begin to unravel a mystery that will ultimately pit them against one of Philadelphia's wealthiest families. Unbeknownst to Alyssa, the Mastersons are a family that will stop at nothing to keep their dark secrets hidden...

I watched this last night it was entertaining in that awesomely bad way. John's character was so sadistic and it was nice seeing all these Canadian actors in the movie. Typical Lifetime movie but since I love them, I loved this one too

I watched that Death Note movie to see Deanna and it sucked. The only part I liked was when Miriam's character died. I like to pretend that its Degrassi at that it's Emma who is dying.
