John was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He received his B.A. at Pepperdine University after three plays as Puck in "A Midsumer Night's Dream", Edward in "Someone Who'll Watch Over Me" and Todd in "The Author's Voice".

He made his first act in show "Can't Hurry Love", in 1995. After that he took the lead roles of two tv-shows "Bone Chillers" as Fitzergerald Crump and "A.J.'s Time Travelers" as A.J. Malloy.

In 1998 he played the lead role Mike in movie "Phantom Town". Where his role and his role siblings went on a quest to find their parents and arrive in a town that didn't exist in any maps at all.

John likes baseball, tennis, swimming, sailing, snow boarding, water skiing, skiin, riflery and rappelling. And he can do Irish, English, Southern, Midwestern, New York and Texan accents.
