Johnny Messner was born in Syracuse, New York but raised in Newbury Port Mass. He has one brother and one sister. His brother is an artist and designed two of the tattoos on his arms. He lived in Europe for thirteen years while his father served in the U.S. Airforce. It was during this time that he developed his love of sports by playing on teams at the military bases. It was this love of sport that led to him originally planning to be a sportscaster, before he turned to acting. While struggling to be an actor he worked for years as a bartender and then later he worked for a year as a… More personal assistant to movie producer Andrew Stevens.

He has worked on three films with Bruce Willis, 'Tears of the Sun' (2003), 'The Whole Ten Yards' (2004) and 'Hostage' (2005). He was given his Vette as a gift from Bruce Willis.
While he was filming his role as Lance Baldwin on the show, 'The O.C.' he brought Tallulah, Bruce Willis's daughter on set with him for her birthday as it was her favourite show. He showed her all around and everyone sang happy birthday to her.

He has green eyes, his star sign is Aries, his Chinese astrology sign is the Dog and he says that he is a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy.

    Really cool..and HOTT hide show

    He\'s an adorable guy, really hott and a pretty good actor too...he was amazing as johnny messner in THE OC and I really regret that he is not part of the cast anymore...his marissa - kaitlin relationship was really cool and I think they could have find a better way to \"kill\" him. I luv his haircut and his stile probably because i like surfers but he remained one of the main reasons why i continueted to watch the 3rd season of The oc...his character was kinda problematic because of his accident and then his luv for marissa and later the feelings for kaitlin(which I think would\'ve been a better girlfriend for him) and then his death(which was a problem mostly for his fans and then for the show), however we liked it very very very much and hopefully we\'ll find out that he\'s not really dead and he\'s been in a hospital for some time to cure his wounds...

    He is pretty good looking and a great actor. I know his uncle Pastor Paul Messner personally. Johnny was born only 30 minutes away from where I live. I can't wait to see him in more movies. hide show
