The reason that I kept this rating over a 1 was because, I have to say, he did an exceptional performance in Napoleon Dynamite. He played the role well, he never went out of character or anything, but, come on. The movie wasn't really that great. Ok, so you get a few laughs the first MAYBE second time you watch it, but after that, nah, not that funny anymore. So I guess I can see why people like him, but that doesn't mean that he has to go into all of the latest comedies. He is supposed to be a one hit wonder, and remembered for his part in that movie, but all these starring roles in movies that are given to him in movies, that he can't pull off because he can only do Napoleon, just kills it.
but now I see that theyre putting him in really crappy movies lately. And he still has that annoying dumb-sounding voice, the same tone of voice you hear from him in Napoleon Dynamite. That's getting a bit old... and annoying. He should try sounding a little different, Im sure hes more talented than that.
Jon Heder is Napoleon Dynamite. The man delivered such a hilariously, original performance in that movie that he, at that point, was destined to become a comedic star in Hollywood.
I loved his role in "Benchwarmers" and "Napoleon Dynamite". In both movies, he played as nerdy guys. He is very funny indeed! The voice and how writers write things for him to say are great. I loved both of these movies that he was in. I'm always wanting to keep watching them. What ever movie he's in next I'm sure will be funny and very great. I really admire this actor's work!
OMG!!! Jon rocks!! He is awesome as Naploeon Dynamite. Can't wait to see him in more movies. He is a great actor. 10 out of 10. I love Napoleon Dynamite its my favourte movie. Its a movie that you can always watch and it wouldn't be that way with out Jon. He is awesome. My favourite actor along with Diedrich Bader. He Brings something to Napoleon Dynamite. My favourite line in he movie is the very first line that he says:
Boy: Hey Napoleon, What are you going to do today?
Napoleon: What ever i feel like i wanna do, Gosh!!!
Jon is unique. He gave Napoleons character heart and soul. It was difficult not to love the "geek". Standing up for Pedro was inspirational for all. I wish there were more Napoleons. Then maybe we wouldn't have to worry about our children.
Napoleon Dynamite rocks. I for one, can't wait to see Jon host SNL this Saturday. It might save the bombing show. It's needs people like Jon Heder to bring up the ratings. Since Jimmy Fallon left, it's just not the same. When you say Red Sox, I say NOMAR!! PSCYHE
