Jonathan Glassner

Jonathan Glassner is a television writer, director, and producer. He is known for his involvement with Stargate SG-1 and The Outer Limits. Glassner was initially noticed as a writer for his work on Alfred Hitchcock Presents. After writing for several television series including 21 Jump Street, Glassner moved on to "The Outer Limits". After his stint the The Outer Limits he approached MGM about developing their motion picture hit Stargate into a TV series. At the same time Brad Wright, who he worked with on The Outer Limits, did the same so MGM made the two partners and they wrote the pilot for Stargate SG-1 together. He worked as a staff writer and executive producer for three seasons. His most recent work is as a director for CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, and other shows.
