Jonathan is the youngest of three brothers. Older brother, Anthony, is also an actor. Middle brother, Michael, is a car wholesaler in Los Angeles. His parents are, Eddie LaPaglia, an Australian auto dealership owner, and Maria, a secretary. He initially wanted to pursue fine arts as a career, but had doubts about his talent. He graduated from the University of Adelaide, Australia with a degree in medicine. He worked three years as a physician in Adelaide, Sydney and London. Feeling restricted, he decided to follow his brother into acting.In 1994, he moved to New York City where he joined the… More Circle In The Square Theatre School. He got his first break in 1996, when he joined the cast of TV show "New York Undercover".

Jonathan is now living in Santa Monica, California with his wife, actress Ursula Brooks, and their daughter.

    I continue to watch seven days Monday thru Friday. I tape them and watch thme over the weekend. Jonathan Lapaglia is a great actor and I hope to see him in more up coming movies. hide show

    He is a great actor and loved his show seven days. He talent surpasses alot of the present actors we have now. Keep up the good work Jonathan and hope to see you back on a tv series.
    If he ever decides to return to the medical field, we need some good doctors here in Rockford, Illinois.

    Excellent actor, loved the show 7 Days, one of my favorites. I never missed an episode, as any great program the pin-heads always seem to muck up a good thing. hide show

    In 7 Days great actor, very funny, kept the program going. As Frank B. Parker crononaut he gets to fix the difficult mistakes that the uppity knuckle heads impose on the world. In the program "The District" he plays a DC detective, would be great to see this young actors character be expanded.

    John LaPaglia was the main actor in one of my favorite shows of all time. In "7 Days", John did a great job and performed very well. I also saw him on the District and in a movie and he was good in those roles too. hide show

    Seven Days was a great show and he kept it going. I would like to see him on more shows in the future.
