I have never heard a voice quite like his. W O W ! I was like uber impressed with his acting of Marik Ishtar on Yu-Gi-Oh, he really made the character his own. It was evil and handsome all at the same time. He defiently had a voice of his own, and a voice that could be so easily identified at that... it really was one of a kind. Most defiently one of my favorite voice actors, as well as Marik Ishtar being one of my favorite characters in general!
I would defiently love to see (or hear I should say) his voice in more things more often. A+++
I first saw him as Marik, and he was an okay actor. Then he acted as Strings, which was the coolest voice ever, with that distorted background. But that was just the beginning, because then he played Yami-Marik. This guy should have been awarded with something... Yami-Marik was the biggest villain in Yu-Gi-Oh! to date! He should come back with old J. T. Ross to give him a comeback tour. My favorite episode with Ross is when he bellows in Mime Control: Behold... the last monster you'll ever see! The Egyptian God Slifer the Sky Dragon!!!! Pure talent... this guy's voice is still in my nightmares.
It is amazing and just awesome how he plays Marik and then how he voices Yami Marik. He really captures Marik's evil. I wonder how he plays Marik so well? He does a pretty good job at playing regular Marik, but a better job at playing Yami Marik. In Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, I hope J.T. or Andrew Rannells plays Manjyome.
I like J.t Ross cause of he's voice as Marik and I really love how he's voice have to change a little bit when Marik turn into Yami Marik I think that pretty hard to do cause I can't do that so he is a pro at this stuff good job!
